The weather has been so up and down lately that when we finally had a mild, sunny day after a spell of cold and rain, I had to go spend some time outside. So my boyfriend, my dog, and I went for a walk. If you are in the Cleveland area, I highly recommend Issac Lake:
It is right on the parkway, shortly after Fowles, in Middleburg Heights. There is a beautiful view of the lake and plenty of benches to enjoy the view on; however, if you are in the mood for a beautiful walk that won’t take too long there is a little path off to the right of the sitting area. There’s plenty of beautiful scenes and places to rest and take it all in. We found one spot that looked like a mini beach along the creek – definitely returning there for a picnic. Hear is just a glimpse of the beauty in this area of the metroparks, tucked away in the middle of the city:
Afterwards, we enjoyed a delicious, fresh lunch at Sittoo’s, located on Ridge Rd. in Parma; scrumptious Lebanese cuisine.
And this is probably my favorite picture of the day:
Driving home, thinking about how wonderful the day was with my family.
